RGL led creative direction and cultural strategy for Clipse’s “Birds Don’t Sing,” a music video tribute honoring the group’s late parents. The project translates family history into a publicly shared memorial, ensuring cultural authenticity and dignity. By combining research, advocacy, and intentional storytelling, the work shows how hip hop artists can extend their practice into broader cultural infrastructure, reflecting the full range of RGL’s approach to public memory, memorials and contemporary landscape architecture practice.
